My affair with Tropicana Ends!!

So my father bought me a few cartons of Tropicana Pure Premium Orange Juice from Korea, yes I know, I insisted because we don’t get it here in Bangladesh and I’m an addict. So I drank some while working today and got to think, how is it that Tropicana juice tastes so good? Why does it taste the same everywhere regardless of how it is made? Why doesn’t the orange juice made in my home taste the same? This led me to do some research on a much loved childhood brand of mine. Which led to this heartbreaking article by Food Renegade which you can access by clicking here. That article led me to finding more that led me to finding out that Pepsico owns Tropicana, which I didn’t know that. I digged up a lotta dirt on these OJ brands of the world and became fairly depressed for a few hours. I have two cartons left to consume but no love or lust anymore. I quit red meat a fair few months ago because of atrocious factory farming of cows, goats, sheeps and so forth. Free range chicken being my only saving grace for the meat category. 

So it seems that my love affair with Tropicana is about to come to an abrupt end….my parting words being “its been years since I have loved you only so loyally and with such passion only to know now that you were so fake all along my dear 100% freshly squeezed natural no nonesense, no preservative, no sugar or no concentrate juice babe……you are the equivalent of a girl with implants where there should be none, especially when you claimed you were all natural.” Thank you Synthia for indirectly making me research this more. PEPSICO you bastards, how many of my childhood memories will you piss on??!!!
